2 for 1: Illustration Friday (Puzzled) and Blown Covers Submission (Love in the Big City)
The kid's expression seemed "puzzled" enough for me to use this as a good excuse to post to Illustration Friday this week. The image was originally created as a submission for this week's Blown Covers theme: "Love in the Big City". I titled this piece "Questionable Taste".
It's not that I'm against Public Displays of Affection ... but now that I have a kid of my own, I'd appreciate it if couples could keep their PDA's in the PG category ... at least until after I've had "the talk" with my boy in five or six years.

Haha!! Good unique solution to the puzzled theme! I've got a 5 and 9 year old and it is difficult to answer their puzzled expressions and questions...mainly when caught out by the TV!
Ha! I love the tongue confusion... & visually, the pink touches, perfect!
But I gotta say as a parent, take the opportunity to answer those uncomfortable but important questions while they're young because they don't really want to hear about it when they're older!
Thanks for the feedback, guys ... both on the art-work and the art-of-parenting!
Man! I think this is somewhat sick in a good sort of way. If there is such a thing?
Ha ha! Clever response to this week's prompt! Love how you're immediately drawn to the tongues and the kid! He definitely looks puzzled!
